LinTO Web UI - User documentation

LinTO UI is a javascript library allowing you to use the customizable features of LinTO intelligent agents directly in your web pages. Thanks to LinTO UI, you can easily customize and integrate a chatbot, or design voice commands to trigger actions on your web pages.

1 Activation

When the user loads the page, the LinTO user interface is disabled by default. The "disabled" state is symbolized by the LinTO icon sleeping in the lower right corner of the web page.

To activate the user interface, simply click on the LinTO icon.

A window will open to propose to the user to activate LinTO UI, with the possibility to activate or deactivate the "wake word" listening and the audio response.

The multi-modal mode takes the form of a chat window. Questions can be asked from the keyboard or verbally via the user's microphone. It is possible to trigger the microphone by saying the word "wake up" when the microphone is activated, or by clicking on the "microphone" button.

2.2 “minimal-streaming” Mode

The minimal-streaming mode is voice only and takes the form of a banner at the bottom of the page displaying the user's questions and the intelligent agent's answers. When the user interface is activated, it is possible to trigger a listening session by saying the word alarm or by clicking on the LinTO icon. By clicking on the pop-up above the LinTO icon, you can access the transcript of the questions/commands and answers.
